BOYS BASKETBALL

Presale sectional tickets available at BC

Boys basketball sectional tickets will be on sale tonight at Brownstown Central’s basketball game against Orleans, starting at 5 p.m.

Tickets also can be purchased in the BCHS athletics department from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

Tickets are for the full tourney and are $10 each.

All sectional games will be played at Salem High School.

Brownstown Central will play North Harrison on Tuesday in the first round at 7 p.m.

Should the Braves win, they face Charlestown in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Friday.

The sectional championship will be conducted the next evening, March 4, at 7 p.m.

WRESTLING

Seymour represented at state level

Eight freshmen/sophomores from Seymour High School qualified for the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association’s Fresh/Soph State Finals, set for Saturday at Southport High School.

Qualifiers were: Isaiah Pichardo, Justin Ruddick, Brandon Penegar, Jacob Rotert, Jake Kriete, Colin Sons, Alejandro Sachinas and Kevin Corrales.
