SCIPIO

Melinda Ann Cain, 56, of Scipio, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Cain; a son, Steve Cain of North Vernon; two daughters, Danielle Cain of Scipio and Melissa (Mike) Fletcher of North Vernon; her father, Donald (Dorine) Swayzee of Mitchell; her mother, Judy Lucas of Columbus; a brother, Rick (Cindy) Swayzee of Columbus; and five grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with the Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Burial will be at Scipio Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family for expenses.
