The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library’s bimonthly book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Special Friends-only previews of the sale will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Adult hardback and softbound books are $1 each; children’s books, young adult books and small paperbacks are 50 cents each; and DVDs are $2 each. During the final hour of the sale from 3 to 4 p.m., Friends volunteers will hand out bags to fill with books for only $3 a bag.

Donations of gently used books, DVDs and CDs are welcome to help stock upcoming bimonthly sales and the ongoing sales at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries. Drop them off at any checkout desk during library hours.

Anyone interested in becoming a Friend of the Library or renewing their present membership will find forms at the sale, at the checkout desks or online. Annual dues are $5 for individuals, $10 for family, $25 for donor and $50 for benefactor.

The next Friends of the Jackson County Public Library book sale will be May 6.
