NORTH VERNON

James “Jim” Jenkins, 74, of North Vernon, died at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017, at his home.

Survivors include sons, Rusty (Carol) Jenkins and Jack Hatton, all of North Vernon; daughters, Angela Jenkins of Kentucky, Lora (Roger) Vanosdol of Butlerville and Lynnetta Jenkins and Melinda Vanosdol, both of North Vernon; brother, Ronnie Heavern of North Vernon; sister, Frances Dow of Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Jenkins.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
