NORMAN

John Wayne Ault, 62, of Norman died at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour after an illness of two months.

He was born Feb. 18, 1955, in Washington County. On July 5, 1975, in Clearspring, he married Sylvia Bequeret Ault, who survives.

John was a member of Ratcliff Grove Christian Church and a truck driver for Foster Brothers. He was a 1974 graduate of Brownstown Central High School.

Other survivors include his three children, Jason Wayne (Christol) Ault of Seymour, Jeremy Wade (Amy) Ault of Freetown and Dana (Chucho) Viveros of Seymour; 11 grandchildren, Payton (Amanda) Ault, Jacob, Olivia, Justin, Melanie, Jackson and Madilyn Ault, Cheaney Reichenbacker and Jaida, Selena and Elisa Viveros; a great-grandchild, Nya Ault; two brothers, Gerald Ault of Norman and Herb Ault; and five sisters, Geraldine Boling of Mitchell, Kay (Danny) Fisher of Norman, Kathy Gorbett of Seymour, Sherry Baker of Mitchell and Rosie Garduno of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jackie Ault.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia with Mark Moorecraft officiating. Burial will take place at Proctor Cemetery/Dixon Chapel.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Ratcliff Grove Christian Church.
