Elbert Edwards, 70, of Commiskey, died at 3:08 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Edwards of Commiskey; son, Charles (Fonda) Edwards of Commiskey; daughter, Stella (David) Hyatt of North Vernon; brother, Donald (Ann) Edwards of Versailles; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Jennings County with military graveside rites.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Tuesday.
