Due to staff attending the Indiana Library Federation District VI Conference in Greensburg, the Jackson County Public Library will close the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora branches on Friday.

The Brownstown Public Library also is closed for all of its staff to attend the conference.

More than 100 library staff and board members from throughout Indiana will attend sessions on various topics, including dealing with customer service, drugs in the library and the future of libraries.

All libraries will reopen for regular hours Saturday.
