The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a flood warning for the East Fork White River at Seymour from Saturday morning to late Sunday night.

On Wednesday morning, the river was at 5.5 feet, but rain was in the forecast for the evening.

Flood stage is 12 feet.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage by Saturday morning, continue to rise near 12.5 feet by early Sunday morning and fall below flood stage by early Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Minor flooding is forecasted.
