The Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals will consider two requests during its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Planning and Zoning Office, 202 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

The first request to be considered is from James T. Puckett of 6550 River Road in Columbus. Puckett is requesting a variance to operate an open flea market with vendor-style lots to sell various goods and services in the 6000 block of South County Road 1100E. The 56.694-acre site in Vernon Township is presently zoned accommodating business/residential (single family).

The second request is from SpringHill Camps Inc. for a special exception to erect a 160-foot radio tower in an area zoned A2 (agricultural). The tower would be erected on a 352-acre site at 2221 W. State Road 258 in Pershing Township.
