The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church in Seymour met March 28.

President Paula Stafford called the meeting to order and thanked Lyndie Richey and her committee for the decorations and refreshments.

Devotions were given by Richey. January and February minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was read and approved. Betty Guinn read thank-you notes from Pastor Jon and Jan Carlstrom, Brenda Goss and Pastor Bill and Robin Everhart.

Sales representative Bonnie Koontz had a variety of cards displayed for sale.

Cards and flowers representative Wanda Gray sent Goss and Linda Rumph get well cards.

Ruth Sweany passed away March 27.

Paula thanked members for providing food for the Fellowship Cafe on Feb. 19.

Under new business, Stafford reminded the group of the bake sale May 10 and the Delta Kappa Gamma dinner at 6 p.m. May 16.

Lois Gueter and Helen Horton will plan the menu for the dinner and report back at the April meeting. There will be no Mother’s Tea in April.

Everyone enjoyed decorating Easter eggs planned by Stafford. Refreshments followed the activity.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 25.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
