Skylor D. Walp, 25, of Hope died at 9:23 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

Skylor is survived by his father, David Walp of Columbus; mother, Leslie Brown-Briner (Todd Briner) of Elizabethtown; grandparents, Tommy and Carol Walp of Hope and Charlie and Jean Brown of North Vernon; sister, Katelyn (Tyler) Johnson of North Vernon; sister, Lacey Walp (Kelly Wilson) of Columbus; and nieces, Reagan and Kaidence.

A funeral service was conducted Sunday night at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service, North Vernon. A private graveside service will be conducted today at Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to The Lighthouse Recovery Center.
