The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting April 4 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

President Jackie Hill opened the meeting. The group sang Hymn 520 “Baptized into Your Name Most Holy.”

The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg spoke about Martin Luther and the Christians of the 1500s, baptism and eternal life.

Sharon Toppe said the May party will be a pitch-in dinner at 6:30 p.m. May 2.

Norma Thomas told the group about an opportunity to tour the Schneck Rehabilitation Services facility in May.

The tables were decorated in spring-colored confetti, flower and jelly beans with an Easter theme. Lisa Lewis read an Easter story. A yellow Jell-O salad was served. Pat Nicholson won the door prize, a towel.

Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Barb Otte, Jean Barkman, Jan Blomenberg and Jan Wilde.
