Salem scored at least one run in every inning but the fifth in a 9-3 Mid-Southern Conference victory Tuesday at Brownstown Central.

Trailing 3-0, Brownstown’s Jami Bryant sacrificed to score Zoe Fountain in the bottom of the first. An RBI single from Addy Krieger scored Chloe Carlin to cut the deficit to one.

The Lions built their lead to 5-3 after two innings and held the Braves scoreless the rest of the way.

Brownstown finished with four hits to Salem’s 12.
