The Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a permit to close the southbound right lane of Interstate 65 at the 46½-mile marker south of Seymour on Tuesday night while remediation crews remove soil contaminated from a recent diesel spill.

Environmental Remediation Services personnel and equipment will work along the west-side shoulder of I-65 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert for workers and construction traffic at the spill site.
