The Louisville and Indiana Railroad is working on replacing rail in crossings throughout Jackson and Bartholomew counties.

The project starts Tuesday.

Roads that will be affected in Jackson County are County Road 760 and County Road 1000. They will both be closed at the same time. Detour routes will be in place, and motorists are asked to not drive around a barricade blocking off a road.

The roads will be closed for as minimal amount of time as possible.
