Leslie and Barbara Schroer of Brownstown plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by spending the day with their children and grandchildren attending Easter services at St. John’s Sauers Lutheran Church and enjoying the day celebrating with their family.

Leslie and the former Barbara Schleter were married April 16, 1967, at the Methodist church in Brownstown. The Rev. Lightfoot officiated.

The couple have two children, Julie (Brian) Wischmeier and Brian (Michelle) Schroer, both of Brownstown; and five grandchildren.

She is the owner of Schroer Drapery, while he is a self-employed farmer.

The couple attend St. John’s Sauers Lutheran Church.
