Columbus Star Quilters Guild’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting will be May 3 at St. John’s Masonic Lodge 20, 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus.

The free meeting is open to the public. Doors open at 8:45 a.m., and the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m.

The May program includes a lecture from Heather Givans of Crimson Tate in Indianapolis. Givans’ presentation is entitled “Modern Quilter — Journey from Quilter to Fabrics.” Those planning to attend are asked to bring show-and-tell items to share with the group.
