Hours for the camp are from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 956 N. O’Brien St., Seymour.

The purpose of the camp, which begins May 30 and ends July 28, is to provide girls with educational but fun activities, such as swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, science experiments, computer lab and more. Classes focus on programs directed to teach media literacy, economic literacy, entrepreneurship, anti-bullying and self-esteem.

Girls have an opportunity to take swim lessons and attend optional field trips.

Summer membership is $25. Current members do not need to pay an additional membership. The fee for the camp is $200 per person for the nine weeks or a daily rate of $10 per day is an option for those wishing to attend intermittently. Lunch is included in the cost.

Girls in grades 7 through 12 have the opportunity to volunteer with a $25 supply fee cost. Optional field trips are additional fees.
