Dorothy Mae Crowe Lunte, 93, of Seymour passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home.

Born Aug. 3, 1923, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Roy and Nettie Layton Nordloh, both of whom preceded her in death. On Oct. 16, 1943, she married L. Dale Crowe, who preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1976. In August of 1988, she married Paul Lunte, who preceded her in death in January 2005.

She was a 1941 graduate of Shields High School and a 1942 graduate of Seymour Business College. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Crowe; a sister, Martha Lee Rindahl; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Crowe Roovaart.

Voss & Sons Funeral Service is handling the arrangements. No public visitation will be held. Burial will take place at a later date in Decatur, Illinois.

Her family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Lutheran Community Home and her many friends in Seymour.
