Jackson County Dental is hosting the inaugural free dentistry from the heart event May 19.

The office will offer free cleanings, fillings and extractions to anyone 18 and older who cannot afford dental care elsewhere.

Services will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first 50 patients are guaranteed to be seen.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and event hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The office is at 324 W. Second St., Seymour.

Patients are encouraged to arrive early, dress appropriately for the weather and to bring chairs, blankets, water, snacks, etc. as they may be outside waiting to be seen.
