The next meeting of the Helping Others and Praying for Everyone, or HOPE, group is set for 6 p.m. Monday at Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, 616 W. Commerce St.

The guest speaker will be Brenda Hobson, whose husband Bobby Hobson spoke about what can happen with alcohol and drug addictions at the April meeting. She will be sharing her side of the story during the May meeting.

Hobson and his wife attend Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, and both are living, walking miracles and leading a productive lifestyle and hoping they can make a difference in other peoples lives, according to a news release.

The meetings are open to the public.
