Local Christian author Ramona Cecil plans to speak at a meeting of the Jackson County Retired Teachers Association at noon Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Third St., Seymour.

Lunch cost is $12 per person.

Business items include approval of officers for the coming year and information concerning this year’s representative assembly.
