The Jackson County 4-H Council and Purdue Extension Jackson County will be conducting a Color Me Green 4-H Dash on June 17 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.

The event, designed to promote healthy living initiatives in Jackson County, is open to all community members and 4-H members, families and volunteers.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. that day, and the run/walk will start at 9 a.m. Participants should park near Exhibit Building 4.

The cost is $10 plus a donation of canned goods, cereal or other food items for the local food pantries.

Preregistration must be received by June 1 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Registrations received after June 1 will not be guaranteed a shirt but can still participate in the event.
