Purdue Extension Jackson County plans to conduct 4-H sewing workshops from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 30 and June 6, 13 and 20 at Seymour High School, 1350 W. Second St.

Participants should enter through the bus lobby entrance.

This workshop is open to all Jackson County 4-H sewing and 4-H sewing for fun members in grades 3 through 12. Parents and 4-H volunteers also are invited to attend.

Members are encouraged to bring prewashed fabric, a project pattern, scissors, pins, a seam ripper, thread, a zipper, buttons, etc. as required for clothing and nonwearable projects.

4-H’ers wishing to participate should call the extension office at 812-358-6101 to preregister for the workshops on any date by May 22.
