William Orville Spence III, 42, of Medora, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Washington County.

Born Oct. 25, 1974, in Salem, he was the son of William O. Spence II, who survives in Medora and Betty Jean Gorbett Spence, who preceded him in death.

He was a logger and loved fishing, hunting, old cars, motorcycles and music.

Other survivors include his stepmother, Roberta Spence of Medora; three sons, Zachary Allen Spence of Medora, Kage Matthew (Emily) Spence of Brownstown and Jaylen Alexander Spence of Medora; two grandchildren, Colton Spence and Kaylee Spence; two brothers, Charles Spence of Medora and Aaron Spence of Seymour; four sisters, Billie Edwards of Seymour, Ada Reynolds of Medora, Tina Cochrane of Vallonia and Crystal Spence of Medora.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a niece, Chelsea Morris.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora with Jeff McPike officiating.

Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
