Homer Dean Delph, 36, of Medora passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Sparksville Crossing at Campbellsburg.

Born July 23, 1980, in Seymour, he was the son of Walter Dean and Penny Sue Bennett Delph, both of whom survive.

He worked for Collins Heating & Air as an HVAC technician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. He was a very adventurous person and loved spending time with family and friends. His life was surrounded by his daughter whom he loved very much.

Other survivors include his daughter, Daisy Mae Delph; paternal grandmother, Maxine (Al) Bequeret; sister, Misty (Andy) Ruddick; nephews, Dustin Ruddick and Justin Ruddick; niece, Kearstin Ruddick; and “Old Farts” Tom and Betty Branum, whom he checked on everyday.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Holly Delph; maternal grandparents, Ed and Louise Bennett; and paternal grandfather, Simon Delph.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Kurtz Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may be made for his daughter’s education fund.
