PORTLAND, Ore. — Police have identified the person found dead Tuesday night in Southeast Portland.

Portland police say 53-year-old Brian Bruns died outside an apartment building. The Oregon State Medical Examiner said Wednesday that Bruns died of stab wounds.

Detectives are pursuing leads but say they don’t have suspect information to share. Police also said they weren’t releasing any information about the weapon used in the stabbing.

Officers responded to a disturbance report and that someone was injured in a fight on the 4400 block of Southeast 99th Avenue Tuesday night.

Police say Bruns was found with traumatic injuries. He died at the scene.
