Dinner and initiation for three new members, Jamie Grinstead, Joey King and Bobbie Sue Sweeney, were conducted by Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority May 3 at the Immanuel Lutheran social room.

Beckie Anderson, Becca Goldsberry and Mary Reynolds were hostesses.

Tables were decorated with red roses, the sorority flower, and blooming potted plants later given away as door prizes.

President Jackie Hill presided over the initiation. Anderson was conductress assisted by Goldsberry and Alice Christopher. Stations were Phi, Jan Robinson; Beta, Dana Byrkett; and Psi, Kalee Alberring. Melanie Klakamp served as chaplain.

Colletta Pfaffenberger said red and white team scores were close, and the winning team would be announced at the May 15 business meeting. She asked for members to wear their sorority pin to the meeting for additional points.

Alberring talked about the Chicago bus trip and encouraged members to sell tickets before the price went up May 15.

Winning the flowers were Grinstead, Cori Vaughn, Stephanee Roberts, Sweeney, Doris Baurle, Robinson and Christopher.
