Downtown Seymour will be blooming with bargains Saturday for two Seymour Main Street events.

The 16th annual Lawn, Garden and Patio Show will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Robertson Parking Lot in the 100 block of South Walnut Street, behind Peace Lutheran Church.

Vendors will be displaying and selling a variety of lawn and garden items, including flowers, plants, garden art and landscaping materials, brooms, hand-painted items, wood crafts, lawn furniture, grills, lawnmowers and more.

Some of the booths include Everdry Waterproofing, Hannah’s Greenhouse, Otte Farm, Darlage Greenhouse, My Hoosier Hearth, Off the Wall wood signs, Chloe’s Vineyard and Dogwatch of Southeast Indiana.

Richard Beckort with Purdue Extension Jackson County will be available from 9 to 10 a.m. to answer questions about flowers and gardens.

A door prize raffle will begin at noon for all those attending the show. You don’t have to be present to win.

Also taking place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is Seymour Main Street’s Downtown Shop Around event to help promote downtown businesses and attract more people to check out the downtown.

By picking up a punch card, visiting participating businesses and getting the card punched, shoppers will be entered into a drawing for gift certificates.
