PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Authorities have identified two women who were killed in a crash in Plymouth.

State police say 26-year-old Kristina McCarthy, of Kingston, and 20-year-old Montana Hurley, of Sagamore Beach, died in the single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night.

State police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the Jeep Wrangler lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep then traveled across the eastbound lanes of the highway, through the grass median, and entered the westbound side before rolling over and coming to rest on a ramp.

Investigators are still working to determine which of the two victims was behind the wheel.
