TEMPE, Ariz. — Police have released the names of a man and teenage boy who were found fatally shot inside a car in a Tempe apartment complex parking lot.

They say the victims are 20-year-old DeSean Estrada and 16-year-old Kayon Williams.

Police say one victim was in the driver’s seat and the other in the front passenger seat.

They say the shooting doesn’t appear to be a random act of violence and no suspect or suspects have been identified.

Tempe Union school district officials said Thursday that Williams was a junior at McClintock High School and “was well liked by everyone who knew him.”

Police say officers responding to a call about gunfire around 11:15 p.m. Thursday found the victims in the car that had its engine still running.
