HAZLETON, Iowa — A 49-year-old man has been imprisoned for setting fire to his northeast Iowa home.
Court records say Kim Tielebein was given 10 years at his sentencing Tuesday. He’d pleaded guilty to arson.
Prosecutors say Tielebein caused the fire at his Hazleton home on Feb. 25. The residence was in foreclosure.
Prosecutors also say Tielebein was on parole when he set the fire. He’d been convicted of two weapons crimes and of driving while intoxicated, attempting to elude while driving while intoxicated and driving despite a revoked license.
