The Shields Park Pool in Seymour will open May 27 and close Aug. 6.
Hours are noon to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission for adults and children ages 6 to 17 is $3 for the afternoon session and $2 for the evening session. Toddler admission for children ages 3 to 5 is $1 for each session. Season passes for family, adults, children and seniors are available along with lap passes and 30-day family passes.
Swim lessons will be offered in two sessions — June 19 through 29 and July 10 through 20. These lessons will be offered in two time slots for each session — 11 to 11:30 a.m. and 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. The cost for each child ages 4 and up is $30. The deadline for the June session is June 16, and the deadline for the July session is July 7. To register, call the pool at 812-523-7665.
Summer aquatic exercise classes will be offered beginning June 12 and continuing through Aug. 2.
Shallow aquatic exercise classes will be offered from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, while deep aquatic exercise classes will be offered from 11:05 to 11:50 a.m. and from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
The fee is $5 for each class and is payable to the instructor at class time.
