Belmont University

Caroline Lucas of Seymour recently was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

The dean’s list recognizes students who attain a semester 3.5 grade-point average or higher.

University of the Cumberlands

Abigail Criswell of Brownstown was named to the dean’s list at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, for the spring semester.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must attain a semester 3.5 grade-point average or higher.

University of Evansville

Laura Rommel of Brownstown was named to the dean’s list at the University of Evansville for the spring semester.

Rommel is majoring in nursing.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must attain a semester 3.5 grade-point average or higher.

Olivet Nazarene University

Two Brownstown residents graduated from Olivet Nazarene University during the school’s 104th annual commencement May 6 in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

Kati Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree with major in child development. She was a cheerleader for three years, co-captain her senior year and has been listed on the dean’s list.

Kari Jo Brown received a Bachelor of Science majoring in international business and marketing. She graduated magna cum laude, was a member of Sigma Beta Delta and Enactus and has been listed on the dean’s list.

Both Kati and Kari Jo graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 2013.

They are the daughters of Curt and Shauni Brown of Freetown.
