Want a downtown park? Have your say

The Seymour Redevelopment Commission will meet Monday to have a public hearing on a project to create a downtown park.

The meeting will be at 4 p.m. in council chambers at Seymour City Hall.

During the public hearing, people have the opportunity to make comments and suggestions and ask questions about the project.

Afterwards, commissioners will review bids for construction of the park and vote on a resolution to amend the city’s economic development plan and economic development or tax increment finance district to include the future park.
