Lucille Klosterman, 101, of Seymour passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Sept. 24, 1915, in Seymour, she was the daughter of William and Louisa Taulman Bedel, both of whom preceded her in death. On Dec. 5, 1934, she married Roy Klosterman, who passed away Jan. 18, 1992.

She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Seymour. In her early years, she worked at Gerwin Shoe Factory. She was very blessed to be able to stay at home the majority of her life and be a homemaker.

Lucille enjoyed quilting, as she made several quilts for family and friends. She always loved to interact with people and loved to hear the words “Let’s go.” She was a very spunky and ready-to-go lady.

Survivors include her sons, Jim (Dixie) Klosterman and Danny Klosterman; grandchildren, Joey Klosterman, Becky Klosterman, Kellie (Michael) Pelston and Holly Howard; and great-grandchildren, Landon Owens, Levi Pelston and Madison Howard.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Bedel; infant twin daughters, Mary Ann and Phyllis Ann Klosterman; and infant twin sons, Tommy and John Klosterman.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour with the Rev. Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
