Events moved to today

All postseason baseball and tennis events scheduled for Wednesday will take place today due to rain.

Games will resume today with their originally scheduled times.

Old boards from gym available

Brownstown Central High School is replacing its boards in the main gymnasium over the summer.

The old boards are being made available for those wanting souvenirs beginning May 30.

The boards will be placed outside the main office of the school and distributed on a first come first serve basis.

Country Club to host camps

A junior golf camp, and advanced junior golfer program, will be hosted at Seymour Country Club next month.

The junior camp will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and take place on June 9, 16, 23 and 30.

The camp is for kids aged 6 to 13, and on June 30 there will be a cookout and awards ceremony.

Advanced junior golf will be on June 8, 15, 22, 29 and July 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The program focuses on chipping/pitching/lob shots, fairway and green-side bunker play, playing from uneven lines, trouble shots and course management.

Class size is limited for this program.
