Three Jackson County residents received degrees May 6 during the University of Evansville’s 159th commencement at Ford Center in Evansville.

Local graduates are:

Ethan Brown of Seymour, a physical therapy major, who received a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Laura Rommel of Brownstown, a nursing major, who received a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree.

Amanda Wischmeier of Brownstown, an exercise science major, who received a Bachelor of Science degree.
