A subcontractor plans to replace the ties and pave crossings Wednesday and Thursday along the Louisville & Indiana Railroad in Jackson County.

Andrea Janka with Safety Services & Supply Inc. said the workers will replace the ties at crossings at County Road 1000N and County Road 760E.

It is possible the roads will be closed overnight, Janka said.

She urged motorists to follow the detours and to not drive around signs.
