Special guest coming to event in Scottsburg

Chad Lindberg, an actor who has been in the movies “The Fast and the Furious” and “October Sky” and was the co-host of the television show “Ghost Stalkers,” will be the special guest at an upcoming event in Scott County.

The event, presented by the Lost Limbs Foundation, starts at 3 p.m. July 29 at Mid-America Science Park, 821 S. Lake Road South, Scottsburg. There will be a meet-and-greet and a question-and-answer session with Lindberg and a screening of “The Fast and the Furious.” Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

Then at 9 p.m. at the Scott County Heritage Center, 1050 S. Main St., Scuttsburg, there will be a VIP investigation of the center and museum.

The cost is $10 for meet-and-greet only, $20 for general admission and $80 for VIP tickets. Tickets can be purchased online at lostlimbsfoundation.org.

Mike Couch, an Austin native who lives in Brownstown, started the Lost Limbs Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to amputee children in need of prosthetics.
