Photo Gallery: Making an impact

Leadership Jackson County recently celebrated its 35th graduating class. Project  presentations were May 18 at Seymour City Hall. That was followed by a luncheon and a
graduation ceremony at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Here are the project teams and their projects:

Health: Amanda Bieber, Jeff Fields, Joe Green, Rachel Sterling and Heather
VonDielingen (Created an interactive health and wellness fair at Crothersville Elementary School to demonstrate that healthy eating and exercising can be fun and engaging).

Community awareness: Conner Barnette, Bonita Dobbs, Kate Garrity, Rachel Hoevener and Greg Morin (Added a Toucha-Truck event to the annual Kids Fest to give local youth a hands-on opportunity to check
out a variety of large vehicles).

Social concerns: Drew Allen, Marnie Dirks,
Jason Fee, Amanda Harmon and Crystal Schapson (Updated information on a community resource pamphlet given to people who are addicted to drugs or find themselves homeless).

History: Ron Duncan, De Gamroth, Amanda Lowery, Luke Schnitker and Daniel Taskey (Created awareness of the Lynn Street Colored School Center of Goodwill and helped with the preservation and restoration efforts of the Seymour facility to serve the community again in the future).
