The Fort Vallonia chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution plan to hold a picnic at 5 p.m. Thursday at Ruth Ann Rebber’s cabin on Lutheran Lake.

Members are asked to bring a covered dish for the event. This is traditionally a family affair and members are requested to bring lawn chairs and swimming suits.

Those from Seymour will meet at 4:30 p.m. at Cortland Elementary School for a carpool.
