Kirby Stailey, a singer and songwriter from the Bedford area, will lead the praise and worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday at Vallonia Christian Church, 2344 S. Main St.

Stailey is an Indiana State Police officer, but his passion is Jesus Christ and his God-given ability is singing and songwriting, according to a news release from the church.

He first stepped up to the microphone in front of the church congregation when he was 5.

“I have the sole purpose and calling to bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ through my music,” he said. “My biggest musical achievement by far has been and always will be seeing hurt and lost souls come forward to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.”

The public is invited to this special service of praise and worship.
