The Spilling Ink Writers’ Group will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room of the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Emma Shade will speak about writing prompts.

Registration is not required for this free group, which is open to all ages.

Published author and library information services assistant Kathi Linz leads the group, which meets on a mid-month Saturday each month.

Anyone interested in writing for newspapers or magazines is invited to attend.
