MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Federal authorities say three West Virginia men have been convicted of illegal gun possession, which was prohibited by their prior felony convictions.
According to prosecutors, 29-year-old Jeremiah David Wallace, of Ranson, has pleaded guilty, admitting he had multiple firearms in Berkeley County in November 2015. His previous conviction was in Frederick County, Virginia.
In another case, authorities say 29-year-old Chad Aric Berry, of Ranson, pleaded guilty, admitting he had a .38-caliber pistol in September 2015 in Jefferson County, where he had a previous felony conviction.
A third man, 39-year-old Anthony Jerome Addison, of Martinsburg, admitted possessing a rifle in Jefferson County in June 2016. He has a previous drug conviction the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
Each could face up to 10 years in prison.
