JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania attorney general’s office will be handling the prosecution of three men in the death of a man shot from a car.

First Assistant District Attorney Heath Long told The (Johnstown) Tribune-Democrat (http://bit.ly/2rZLFYa ) that state prosecutors will take over the Cambria County case to avoid the appearance of any conflict of interest.

Court documents indicate that Arthur McQuillan, brother of the county’s district attorney, has been appointed to represent 23-year-old defendant Dennis Manson. His office didn’t return a call seeking comment Sunday.

Also charged in the April slaying of 24-year-old Tevin Sitton in Dale Borough are 25-year-old Clifford Eddins and 24-year-old Jalen Gibson, who is accused of being the shooter.

Eddins is represented by the public defender’s office, which was closed Sunday. Gibson’s attorney has said his client “wants to face his accusers.”
