PHOENIX — A multivehicle crash during the Monday morning commute has closed northbound Interstate 17 just past ramps at an interchange with Interstate 10 in Phoenix.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says there’s no immediate estimate when northbound I-17 at the Stack interchange will reopen and that drivers are advised to expect delays and avoid the area.

The state Department of Public Safety says details on the crash aren’t immediately available.

A traffic camera shows show multiple vehicles stopped on the freeway at the crash site, including several cars positioned sideways.
