WASHINGTON — A nightclub in Washington, D.C. has been evacuated after the roof deck partially collapsed.

WTOP-FM reports (http://bit.ly/2rgSWFA ) Uproar Lounge and Restaurant in the northwest part of the city was evacuated Sunday evening, and that no injuries were reported. Washington firefighters say too many people were on the roof deck of the nightclub.

Firefighters say the incident was caused by a “small structural collapse.”

The building’s overall condition will be determined by a city building inspector conducting an investigation.

Roads had been closed in both directions for safety reasons on the 600 and 700 blocks of Florida Avenue.
