Brownstown Public Library’s Teen Readers Advisory Club plans to meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 29, Aug. 3, Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7 at the library, 120 E. Spring St.
This program is for youth entering fifth through 12th grades. Participants must have read one book from the young adult collection before each meeting.
During the meeting, each participant will give a brief talk of their book selection. The goal of the book talk is to tell enough about the title to encourage fellow teens to read the title without giving away the ending.
Book-related activities will be planned for each session. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required for this program led by Michelle Owens.
