BILLINGS, Mont. — Yellowstone County officials have released the name of a Billings transient who was struck and killed by a train over the weekend.

Deputy Coroner Cliff Mahoney tells The Billings Gazette (http://bit.ly/2rbRK2r ) that 26-year-old David Michael Hargett died at about 2 a.m. Sunday.

Police have said Hargett was alone when he was hit by the train.
